Dr. Basith is serving as a Professor in the Department of Physics of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka. Dr. Basith achieved PhD degree from the Materials and Condensed Matter Physics group, University of Glasgow, UK in 2011. His research interests include transmission electron microscopy (TEM) characterization of patterned ferromagnetic nanostructures by lithographic techniques. At present in BUET, Dr. Basith is working mainly on preparation and characterization of multifunctional nanomaterials for energy-related and spintronic applications. He has published more than 40 research papers in different prestigious journals like Nanoscale, Physical Review Applied, Nature Scientific Reports, Applied Physics Letters, Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, Journal of Applied Physics, Nanotechnology, RSC Advances, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy etc. He is the reviewer of a number of reputed journals published from American Physical Society, American Institute of Physics, Royal Society of Chemistry etc. For the last few years, he has received research grants from different international and national organizations worth 500 thousand USD. In BUET, he has established Nanotechnology Research Laboratory for the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials. Since its inception in April 2014, he has been developing advanced facilities in this laboratory under different research projects from home and abroad.

He is the recipient of IEI Young Engineer Award - 2010 in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Engineers (India). He received Bhaskara Advanced Solar Energy Fellowship (BASE Fellowship) from Indo - U.S. Science and Technology Forum (USIEF), Jan 2014 and also received Er. M.P. Baya National Award 2015 from Instituted by the Institution of Engineers (India), Udaipur. He is also the Fellow of Institute of Engineers (India). He is one of the Commission Member to represent India in the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR). He also received Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowship from (USIEF) in 2018. He has served as the President, Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), Guwahati sub-chapter. He also received “Mechanical Engineering Design Award 2017, from National Design & Research Forum (NDRF) of “The Institution of Engineers (India)”, 21st Dec 2017. During 2019, he was honoured as Eminent Engineer -2019 from “The Institution of Engineers (India)”, Assam State Centre.In 2020, he appeared in the World’s Top 2 % Scientist published by Stanford University, USA report. He has won BIRAC-Innovation Challenge Award-SoCH 2020-21 for stage – 1 and stage – 2.He was honoured with an award of Outstanding Engineering service to country by the Institution of Engineers (India), Rajasthan state centre on 15th September 2021. To recognise his outstanding contributions in the field of Thermal Science and Energy Technology as well as his contribution in the growth of the country’s engineering profession, recently, he has been awarded for the prestigious “Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Award 2021”. He served as visiting Professor in many Universities from the USA and Germany and also having research collaborations with over 25 International Universities.
He has been published around 350 research articles in various International Journals and conference proceedings, edited four books and written 16 book chapters. He is having eleven national patents for his credit. He has served as guest editor in 3 elsevier Journal special issues. He has supervised 20 PhD and 60 M.Tech student’s theses. He has successfully completed 8 sponsored research projects worth of 550 lakhs and five consultancy projects worth of 50 lakhs. Currently he is handling 11 research projects worth of 1500 lakhs. He is the reviewer of more than 75 International Journals in the area of hydrogen energy, energy storage, refrigeration, heat transfer, etc. and also reviewed several research proposals from DST, MNRE, Qatar Research Board, etc. He has been serving as expert member in several ministries including DST, MHRD, Ministry Oil and Natural Gas, Ministry of External Affair, etc for research project funding and monitoring. He is also expert / steering committee member in BIS, AICTE, NAAC and many other professor organizations. His area of research includes sorption heating and cooling systems, hydrogen energy storage, metal hydride based thermal machines, coupled heat and mass transfer in porous medium, porous medium combustion, etc.

Dr. Ramphal Sharma is serving the Department of Physics as a Professor since 2009 at Dr. Baba saheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. He joined as an associate professor in 2006 and was promoted in 2009. After his Ph.D., he joined North Maharashtra University affiliated G. T. Patil College, Nandurbar, India as a lecturer in Physics and was elevated to Senior lecturer in 1996. Further, he was promoted to Reader and Associate Professor of Physics in 2000. Also, he initiated and headed the Department of Nanotechnology, Dr. B. A. M. University. Aurangabad, India from May 2006 to Aug 2019 and is still performing his duty as a professor dynamically. He was awarded as Distinguished HOD and Research Professor(2016-17). Acquired fellowships include JRF-SRF(DRDO Project, University of Rajasthan), Post Doctorate Fellowship (ICTP, Tril) and Brain Pool Fellow (Hanyang University Seoul, South Korea). The list of publications(National and International)comprises of: 140-peer-reviewed Journals and 93-Conference proceedings. He did Habilitation in Materials Science from Kiel University in 2015 and Ph. D. in Physics in 2008 from Jawaharlal Nehru University (Inter University Accelerator Centre), New Delhi, India. In Kiel, he introduced a new flame-based process for metal oxide tetrapod nanostructuring and their 3D networks which showed many applications in engineering and biomedical fields. Additionally, tetrapods can be used as templates to create hybrid and new 3D materials. At NanoSYD, he is heading ‘Smart Materials’ group with the focus to develop new materials for green and sustainable technologies.

Dr. Panos is a computational materials scientist and nanotechnologist with extensive experience as a simulation expert in experimental nanotechnology groups and involvement in industrial research. His research interests lie on fundamental processes regarding nanoparticles, but extend to device fabrication and applications, including gas- and bio-sensors, battery electrodes, hydrogen storage, etc. He graduated from the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000 and the Postgraduate Course "Physics of Materials" in 2002. He did his MSc thesis at the University of Liverpool, UK, where he returned in 2005 to do his PhD. He has worked as a Research Associate for NCSR Demokritos, Greece, and the University of Greenwich, UK. Since 2011 he has also collaborated with the University of Helsinki as a Visiting Researcher. In 2012 he became Postdoctoral Scholar for the "Nanoparticles by Design" Unit at OIST, where in 2016 he officially took over as Unit Leader. Since the Unit was disbanded in 2019, he has worked at OIST as an Independent Researcher, collaborating with various groups around the world. Since 2020 he has held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor at the Particle Technology Laboratory at ETH Zurich, and that of Visiting Researcher at the Center for Atomic and Molecular Technologies at Osaka University, where, as of September 2021, he holds the position of Specially Appointed Assistant Professor. Panos is a peer reviewer for 38 international journals and 2 national grants. Subrahmanyam Sappati was born in Urlam, Srikakulam, Andhrapradesh. He did his schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Vennelavalsa, Srikakulam (1999-2006). He studied under graduation, B. Sc (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) at Gayatri college of science and management, Srikakulam (2006-2009). Subsequently, he joined in post-graduation (M. Sc) at the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad (2009-2011). Later, he spent one year as a project assistant at ACRHEM, Hyderabad (2011-2012). He did his Ph. D. in Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, IISER Pune (Aug 2012- Jan 2019) under the guidance of Prof. Prasenjit Ghosh. During his Ph.D., he had multiple short-term visits to ICTP, Trieste, Italy for his collaboration works with Prof. Ralph Gebauer and Prof. Ali Hassanali. Later he moved to Post-doctoral at IISER Thiruvananthapuram (2019-2020) and further he moved to Raman Research Institute (RRI-Bengaluru) as a visiting researcher (2020-2021). Last year, he joined as a tenure track faculty (Associate professor level) at Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk, Poland). His research focuses on molecular bio-physics aspects in proteins.

Dr. Ravindra Jangir received his M.Sc (Physics) degree in 2003 from Physics Department, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He joined Bhabha Atomic research centre in 2005. After one year of course work, he was posted at Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore in 2006 and are working there. He has completed his Ph.D. from HBNI, Mumbai. Currently, he is Scientist-F in synchrotron utilization section, RRCAT, Indore. From 2006 to 2010, he was involved in the development and optimization of III-V semiconductor lasers. He has hands-on-training experience on design, fabrication and characterization of semiconductor laser diode devices. In his PhD work, he optimized the growth of oxide nanowires (Ga2O3 and In2O3) and investigated the gas sensing via optical method in these nanowires. Since 2010, he is working in synchrotron utilization section where he involves in the development of X-ray magnetic circular Dichroism (XMCD) beamline at Indus-2 synchrotron source. His current research interest includes p-type and n-type transparent conducting oxide materials, oxide nanowires and mutliferroic materials.

Dr. Kumar is currently an Assistant Professor in Dept. of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna, India since April, 2017. Before joining IIT Patna, Dr. Kumar worked with Nanoparticles by Design Unit, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), Okinawa, Japan between May 2014-August 2016. He also worked as a visiting Assistant Professor Dept. of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna, India between August 2016- April 2017. Sushant Kumar, received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Florida International University (FIU), Miami, USA in December 2013. He has a B. Tech. degree in Chemical Technology from Institute of Chemical Technology (previously, UDCT), Mumbai, India in 2009. His main research interest lies in heterogeneous catalysis, photocatalysis, CO2 capture and utilization, and hydrogen production and storage methods. He has published 18 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Published papers are in highly-reputed journals such as Advanced Energy Materials (IF:29.06), Applied Catalysis B: Environmental (IF:19.05). He has also one granted US Patent as primary inventor. He has received the sponsored research funding from various govt. funding agencies. Under his supervision, 1 Ph.D. student (thesis submitted) and 1 M. Tech. by research student has already been graduated and 02 Ph.D. are ongoing. He is a recipient of young scientist research award (BRNS, 2019), Dissertation Evidence Acquisition Fellowship, Dissertation Year Fellowship from FIU. He is also a member of National Academy of Inventors, USA. He was also recognized for his outstanding performance as doctoral graduate, Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, FIU. Dr. Kumar also serves as reviewers for several reputed journals in the area of catalysis.

Dr. Domaradzki is researcher at Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics AGH UST and doing his research in the field of Materials Science. He dis his PhD on the topic "New generation of oxide materials for hydrogen storage. Before this, He did his Master of Engineering (with Honours) in the faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics AGH UST with Materials Science, specialty: Functional Materials and thesis title: Synthesis and physicochemical properties of ZrO2-Y2O3-V2O5 solid solutions. He is Master of Engineering, Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics AGH UST, in the Field of Materials Science and his thesis entitled "Design of a technology used to manufacture elements of a solid oxide electrolyser cells from an electrolyte based on yttria-stabilized zirconia". He successfully completed Research project as individual level (Head of the project granted by IDUB AGH UST and Title of grant is entitled "Nanocrystalline high entropy oxides for hydrogen storage".

Dr. Balaji did his PhD at Laboratory for Energy Conversion (LEC) July 2010 – September 2015 Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, Switzerland under the Supervision of Prof. Dr. Reza S. Abhari and Thesis entitle 'Drone based experimental investigation of flow around multi-MW wind farms in flat and complex terrains'. He completed his M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering after B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

She has contributed 6 chapters in the research book of national and international publishers and edited the 2 books. She is regular reviewer of 07 International Journals of Elsevier and others. Dr. Srivastava was Vice-President of Indian Association of Physics Teachers for six years in Uttarakhand between 2011 to 2017.
