ICQD is offering a two-day (5-6 December 2026) pedagogical workshop aimed at graduate students and early-career researchers interested in quantum dynamics. The lectures will provide a structured introduction, beginning with the fundamentals of quantum mechanics and progressing to advanced topics in quantum dynamics.
The workshop will cover modern approaches to simulating open quantum systems, including mixed quantum-classical trajectory methods such as Ehrenfest dynamics and surface hopping, as well as numerically exact techniques including path integrals and hierarchical equations of motion. In addition, the workshop will feature tutorials/discussions, providing participants with opportunities to interact closely with the lecturers. The complete schedule is given below.
NOTE: Registration is by invitation only.
