Participating Colleges

The Idaho Consortium for Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program (ICPTAE) was formed by the three state community colleges, College of College of Southern Idaho, College of Western Idaho, and North Idaho College. Additionally, Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) negotiated an agreement with North Idaho College to have the program delivered on the LCSC, Lewiston campus.  All of the schools mentioned were involved in the planning and formation of the consortium as a means to deliver high-demand, quality, and cost-effective healthcare education across the vast geography of the mostly rural state.  Each college contributes faculty, lab space, equipment, clinical sites, etc. for the maintenance of the program.

Each college will award the AAS degree after successful completion of the program and following initial program accreditation. The Consortium was granted approval to start the ICPTAE program from the Idaho State Board of Education, Division of Professional Technical Education, in February, 2012.
