Touristic train tour:
Valença is a north Portuguese city, located within the lush Minho region of Portugal. The city is set in an idyllic location, surrounded by craggy mountains and wide rivers, and the Rio Minho forms a natural border with Spain. In this tour, we are invited to visit both Valença and Tui, two cities from different countries that learned to cooperate and form since 2012 an Eurocity.
The mini-train leaves the school building at 5:30 pm on 4th April.
Conference Dinner:
The Conference Dinner of the ICPoDeMaMTD will be hosted at the restaurant Quinta do Caminho. Pilgrims from all over the world have walked the Camino de Santiago trails across Europe for centuries, making their way to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, North-West of Spain. This restaurant is located in one of the most famous ways, the Camino Portugués.
The Conference Dinner is not included in the congress fees and can be booked as a supplementary option. The Congress Dinner costs 20 € and the menu may be consulted here.
Those who are interested please send an e-mail to filipecarvalho@esce.ipvc.pt until Tuesday (2nd April) and choose between the fish and the meat main course. The payment must be done at the registration desk.
Special requests must be communicated until Tuesday (2nd April).
By 7:45 pm there will be a bus in front of the school building, to take us all to the restaurant.
