Guidelines to Apply for e-VISA for Travel to INDIA
International delegates who have received email from icp2026@phy.iitb.ac.in regarding their selection in ICOPP-2026, must confirm their active participation for the same by filling the Google form communicated in the email itself. This is required to get approvals from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
International delegates who have filled the Google form, should apply for the e-Conference VISA, using the link given below. A sample VISA form is attached for your reference.
For persons of INDIAN origin (all categories), Visa/OCI card is mandatory.
For travel to INDIA a regular/e-VISA along with valid passport is mandatory.
Note that the validity of e-Conference VISA starts from the date of arrival into INDIA, for 30 days, and it does not provide multiple entries.

IIT Bombay
Getting to IIT Bombay:
Flights: International flights land at Terminal 2, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport , which is about 10 kms from IIT Bombay. The Domestic Airport is at Terminal 1A and Terminal 1B (Santa Cruz), which is about 15 kms from IIT Bombay. Pre-booked cabs and taxis are available at the airports.
Trains: If you arrive in Mumbai by train, LTT (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) is the closest intercity station to the campus which is roughly 13 km. You can either take a cab or if you want to experience Mumbai local trains, you can board from Tilaknagar railway station (which is 800m from LTT) and switch to the central line at Kurla (which is the next station) and then get down at Kanjurmarg station, which is the nearest central railway station to IIT Bombay campus. You can then take an auto from there to reach the campus.
