The distinguished design of the noblechairs series also takes the form of a discrete black aluminium plate adorned with the silver noble logo as well as the enlarged noblechairs logo which is embossed into the headrest, allaying any doubt as to your membership of the noble-club.

The white background in my apple touch icon turns black?? My white background isn't transparent. The icon has a white triangle, red circle and black text. The only thing I can make out is the white triangle and red circle. Any idea whats causing this and how to make the icon keep its white background?Much appreciated.

I'm not sure exactly what it was, but I may have narrowed it down. The first time I uploaded the images they may have had the transparent background. The second time I uploaded them I added the white background, but the png save for devices setting still had transparency checked. The third time I uploaded them I saved them without the transparency checked but still got the black background. All along I think the iOS Safari browser had the first set of images stored in cache. After clearing the cache the new image showed up with no problem.

As gstricklind found, if your png has alpha channel transparency, iOS will unfortunately ignore any "precomposed" directive and apply all its usual effects, in adddition to giving your icon a black background (white didn't seem like a better choice??).

The solution is, of course, to precompile the icons with no transparency. This makes it pretty difficult to utilize Android's support of alpha channels while offering itouch icons as well if a black background does not work for you. I found this tool useful when composing: _slayer

Transparent Apple Touch Icons are indeed possible. What you need to do is strip all excess information from the PNG using ImageOptim for Mac or a similar program on windows. I did extensive research and stumbled on the answer by looking at the apple touch icon used by the Virtual DJ site. This icon keeps it's transparent background on iOS and MacOS Sierra. I looked at the file size and realized how small it was compared to the custom apple touch icons with transparency that I made for my favorites in Safari. Next I looked at the file information using the inspector in Mac's Preview app. All of my custom apple touch icons had four tabs in the inspector section named General, exif, PNG and TIFF. The virtual DJ icon only had two tabs named PNG and General. Once I ran my custom images through ImageOptim the file sizes plummeted by over 90% and the extra TIFF and exif tabs disappeared from the inspector in Preview. Sure enough once I reloaded my custom images and launched Safari all of my Favorites tabs have transparent backgrounds!!!! Please see attached image for proof. Transparent Apple-Touch-Icons

Today when I launch figma I saw that some design files icons where black whereas others are still blue. I was not able to find a answer online, so maybe some of you know what those colors mean?

I agree. It seems that every design aesthetic has changed to black/white, and that just means that everything looks the same. Thanks TeamViewer for making your icon disappear into the clutter of my taskbar. It really helps us to get work done by spending time searching around for which white icon I need. Is it TeamViewer? Or the Network? Or the Speaker? Or DropBox? (Sorry for being petty and catty, but four houses on our block have been painted all black in the past year and I am apparently now officially a cranky old curmudgeon.)

2. As said in #1 clients think its dark blue or black, not everyone even has a display good enough to discern what color it is as it's so dark now as well as on dark themed UI's like windows 10/11's dark taskbar it is almost impossible to see the tray icon minus its connection status bar (green, yellow, red).

3. The change is very inconsistent across the board. The taskbar Icon for me is actually still bright blue (I'm on the latest stable build) but the top of the app is the dark blue in the main UI but as soon as I connect to someone that view window (on the taskbar and its top favicon) has the bright blue one and the main UI now has swapped to a dark blue one.

4. In the light theme of the Main UI it seems clients have the logo in the bottom left of the UI window bright blue but there taskbar icon is the dark blue one. So they are confused on whether it is the same app with an update or even if it's even real anymore (as in compromised or replaced)

Same issue with colors here, all the older people who I support are FREAKED OUT by the "dead icon" (black) - they are certain they got hacked or their "lifeline" program no longer works. Can't seem to convince them otherwise, now they want another program that "isn't dead"; here we go down the **Third Part Product** route instead - all because of an icon color!

This was my first post on here ever and have been using teamviewer for years for multiple companies as well as personal use. I never thought so many people would jump on board with the idea about the icon. Thank you for the support everyone.

Why did TV change the icon color? As a security tech l notice things like this and wonder if something is going on in the background. Did they announce this color change? If they didn't that's poor form.

I noticed that Teamviewer has updated the color scheme of TV's apps icon. If the users are using dark mode on their OS, the short cut is barely visible on the taskbar. Did any of the QAs notice this before having the app owner sign off on this? They should have recognized this in UAT while testing that you can't tell if the shortcut is visible in the taskbar/menu. Can you make an option to use the classic version color scheme of the TV icon? I've attached a screenshot of the task bar.

It's honestly very bad. It isn't just that it's "change" but it's really difficult to see the icon. It would be really nice to change it back, just such a weird color to choose... but it also looks like this website has updated their colors to be this dark color as well, it's just as bad.

After upgrading from Kubuntu 20.04 to Kubuntu 20.10, I could not login as it just showed a black screen after boot. So I switched to command line and reinstalled Kubuntu desktop with sudo apt-get install --reinstall kubuntu-desktop kde-*. After that, i was able to login and can use all applications but the icons and background of input boxes of system apps have turned black as shown below

Notice the black squares at the bottom right in the system tray, they used to be icons for Volume, Network, Bluetooth, etc. I can however click them and they behave as they used to. Also the desktop apps' icons are black.

I have added all the necessary sizes of my iOS App icon as PNG files so they have the correct masks. The Pictures show up fine in macOS and in the IDE:

Screen Shot 2022-06-13A22242606 391 KB

But when the application runs in the Simulator, the App icon has a black border (see icon in Dock) ie treating it as if there was no mask. I did a forum search, but it seems no one has this issue.

Icons in Ignition 8.1.26 are shown with a black background in what seems like a rendering problem when inserted inside a map and any style (for instance a border) is temporarily added.

Once the icon has turned to black because of the style even removing the style doesn't fix the background to the original "coloured" one.

The black color in use is not being used by the Icon, rather, it is being used by the File Upload's "button". The File Upload is displaying as a button because the dimensions of the component are such that it is rendering in its "small" layout, where it is just a button with an icon. As suggested by the questioning of @lrose , you should examine the styling you have in place within the button Named Style you have created. ff782bc1db
