Workshops

The workshops will be divided in two streams: Stream A and B. Stream A will take place in the beginning of the week on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and Stream B at the second half of the week on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday morning. In each stream you will participate in one workshop. For both workshop streams, we will ask you to indicate the workshop of your first choice, and one alternative workshop, so if the workshop of your first choice is full, we will be able to place you in another workshop of your choice.

Stream A:

  • A.1. Team Learning, Collaborative Learning
  • A.2. Research on Task-Centered Learning Environments
  • A.3. Why most research findings are false, and how we can do better.
  • A.4. Using process analysis methods in the context of educational research
  • A.5. Latent Class Analysis

Stream B:

  • B.1. The Use of Eye Tracking in Educational Research
  • B.2. Designing curriculum resources for impact
  • B.3. What’s in a name? A closer look at (teacher learning in) various types of teacher collaboration
  • B.4. Literature reviews and meta-analysis
  • B.5. Social Network Analysis in Educational Research

The workshops are on an advanced level. Rather than introducing a research field, they provide an in-depth discussion of the state-of-the-art, with a focus on current theories, methodologies, future developments, etc..
