Disease modifying treatments for complex age-related disorders have been elusive due to the poorly understood etiologies of these diseases. We present here a novel approach to identifying genetic targets and therapeutics for these indications. By genetically perturbing diseased cells and reading their state in vivo, we generate highly multi-dimensional datasets, illuminating genetic networks and revealing new interventions which move cell state from diseased toward healthy
