International conference on LIght matter interaction 2021

May 19-21, 2021

Webinar

(hosted by Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, India)

Abstract Book ICLMIN-2021.pdf

IC-LMIN-2021 will cover specific topics in Light-Matter Interaction and its study using Optical Spectroscopy along with their applications in material sciences encompassing physical, and chemical sciences. The conference focuses on the utilization of conventional as well as advanced optical spectroscopy on novel low dimensional materials, namely quantum dots, nanowires, graphene, monolayer transition metal selenides and oxides, single quantum emitter, layered perovskites, diamond thin film and bulk topological insulators. About material properties, there will be specific sessions on phase transformations under extreme conditions, and single quantum emission. Localized techniques namely near-field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM) assisted, and surface and tip enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS and TERS) will be another area of major interest.
