Since the time of Unit Record Machines to the latest advanced computing systems, the libraries and education have adopted all contemporary technologies and seen projectile advances. The new millennium has been witnessing more advances in Information and Communication Technologies as such in recent years the Digital Library and Artificial Intelligence is creating inroads in the library and information domain. To understand the basics of Artificial intelligence, the contributions from the teaching community is envisaged beneficial to both the communities. There are different types of libraries, said to be Academic, Public and Special/Corporate Libraries and all of them are keen on adopting the advances in ICT and their applications. The “Linking” envisages to use of emerging “Mobile and Web Technologies” in providing and “Informing” users on their needs and expectations. “Sharing” has been one of the LIS professional gospels since 1940s and presently globally all libraries have been “Networked” for sharing resources of all kinds.
