New!! Second Call for Abstracts!! Register by March 1st for Early Bird Rate!!
In response to strong continued interest in presenting at ICLASP19, we are pleased to announce a special solicitation for scholarly posters and 3x5 interactive sessions. Building on an already robust program (more than 100 abstracts accepted for presentation), this expanded call enables us to feature an even wider range of compelling work from more scholars across the globe and across career stages. To meet this interest, we have secured additional space for poster presentations and 3x5 interactive presentations to showcase more high-quality work and broaden opportunities for meaningful scholarly exchange.
We invite new submissions that advance language and social psychology research, theory, and application. We welcome a wide range of topics, methodologies, and disciplinary perspectives, including (but not limited to): language and identity, communication and social cognition, linguistics and language learning, intergroup relations, aging, health, culture, technology, conflict, and applied or translational research.
Please note: This call is for individuals who do not already have an abstract accepted for presentation at ICLASP19-Tucson.
Poster Presentations
Posters should be a visual presentation of original research by a single author or collaborative team. Posters should present original empirical studies, theoretical developments, methodological innovations, or applied work relevant to language and social psychology.
3x5 Interactive Presentations
These brief, dynamic sessions offer presenters 3 minutes and 3 slides to spotlight emerging ideas, works-in-progress, or novel directions, followed by 5-minute interactive discussion with participants based on a precision prompt. Submissions must include the prompt designed by the author(s) to create engagement.
All submissions will undergo review for scholarly quality and relevance to the conference themes. Accepted work will be integrated into the expanded poster and interactive session program. We will make every effort to announce decisions before March 1st, but we encourage you to Register Now for Early Bird Prices.
Deadline for Special Solicitation:
Submissions received after this date may not be reviewed for acceptance.

ICLASP19 will provide a dynamic forum for researchers to share their latest findings, exchange ideas, and engage in critical discussions about the role of language in shaping our social world.
