Biography
Sameh Ibrahim (SM’16) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2009. From January 2010 to April 2011, he was with Marvell Semiconductor Inc., Santa Clara, CA, where he worked as a Senior Analog Design Engineer in the high-speed serial-links group. In May 2011, he joined the electronics and electrical communications engineering department of Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt where he is currently an associate professor of integrated circuits. He is also working as a consultant for Vidatronic, Inc., College Station, TX since April 2011.
Dr. Ibrahim is the recipient of the Analog Devices Excellence in Analog Design Award in 2006. He serves as a reviewer for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS I & II, IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, and the IEEE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS.
