The concept of Smart Cities is one of the major drivers in the development of a nation. Several such cities are being developed across the globe. The major goals and objectives of the smart cities are efficient transportation and distribution network, seamless road traffic network, healthcare infrastructure, smart homes with efficient utilization of resources, green buildings, improved security for property, lives, banking and finance, minimum environment impact, minimum pollution, minimize waste and efficient waste management and recycling, state-of-the-art education and sports infrastructure, disaster prediction and prevention and improved response etc. Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and techniques can play quite important role on making the smart city endeavour a great success. Several developed countries in the world such as Germany, USA, Singapore, Japan have been developing applying AI based applications for smart cities. With the motive to bring researchers, academicians, scholars and industry practitioners, Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune (MITWPU) organizes an International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Applications 2023 (ICISA 2023) with a focus on ‘Intelligent Systems for Smart Cities’. The conference is scheduled to be held (hybrid mode) during May 3 to 5, 2023 at MITWPU, Pune.
The conference proceedings aim to publish novel and modified intelligent systems for smart cities in the areas listed (not limited to) below.
Supply chain and Logistics
Social Media
Healthcare
Cyber Security and Crime Preventions
Homes and Structures
Banking & Finance
Disaster Management
