(Nanotechnology), B.Sc, (Physics), M.Sc.(Physics) & Ph.D. Programs through the Department of Physics and Nanotechnology. The department also carryout research in cutting edge technologies in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

Excellence in research and teaching has been the hallmark of the Department of Physics ever since its inception from 2004. The department offers B. Sc (Physics) and Ph.D. programme. Apart from research in the frontier areas of Physics, the department over the years has been producing technologists with highest caliber. Highly motivated and well qualified faculty members are the back bone of our Department. Our faculty members are dynamically involved in research and published more than 120 research papers in International Journals in the last 5 years. The department is recognized as a research department with research scholars and faculty members pursuing their Ph.D. programme. The department is approved with 4 research projects funded by DST-SERB and the management to the tune of more than 75 lakhs. Active research is being carried out in the field of X-ray Crystallography/ Crystallographic studies on drug molecules, Dielectric Studies, Crystal Growth, Electronic structure of materials, Nanomaterials and Ceramic compounds.
