The Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University’s vision is to be a leading institute of excellence in Humanities and Social Sciences nationally and internationally. The Faculty is determined to do its best, especially in building the body of knowledge to meet the needs of the community and society. Therefore, among its activities are academic collaborations with international organizations to promote lecturers and graduate students to develop and present more academic work in the international academic arena.

In cooperation with the Faculty of Defence Studies and Management, National Defence University of Malaysia, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University and Faculty of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University, Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Mai University, School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University organizes the 17th International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences at the Laguna Grand Hotel & Spa Songkhla, Songkhla, Thailand. The objectives of the conference are for academics, researchers, and graduate students from Thailand, Malaysia, and other countries to exchange their academic experience, and publish their academic work contributing to the body of knowledge beneficial to teaching, learning, and researching that could be used in development of their organizations, institutions, and countries.
