The College was founded in 2006 for undergraduate studies with two scientific departments (Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering). One year later, the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established. Three scientific departments (Petroleum Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Orthotics and Prosthetics Engineering) have been established in 2014.The newest department in the college, Architecture department was added in 2015.

In 2013 and 2014, the post graduate studies (MSc) have been started in the departments of Mechanical Engineering and the Civil Engineering respectively.

The College is looking for implanting the concepts of the theoretical and experimental aspects for the students. The college also seeks for communicating with the governmental institutions and private companies in order to provide the society with skilled and qualified engineers specialized in the various engineering disciplines and they have the capability to manage, design and produce engineering projects of all kinds.
