Changes to the GED Distance Learning Classes:
We are excited to announce that Inland Career Education Center will be offering HyFlex classes for our GED students on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

A HyFlex class allows you to attend in person or virtually from home – giving you the flexibility to choose what works best for you each day!
To enroll, you must have regular access to a Chromebook or computer (no tablets or phones).
These classes are designed for motivated learners who can participate either from the classroom or virtually via Zoom.
Big Changes You Need to Know:
High School Diploma classes are now trimesters
Each trimester is 12 weeks long.
All coursework must be completed by the end of each trimester.
Unfinished classes will reset at the start of the next trimester.
Course Final Exam Options
At the end of each course, you will choose ONE of the following:
Take a final exam on campus using your handwritten notes,
OR
Submit a course project presentation video and slides
This flexible final exam policy is designed to fit different learning styles and showcase your growth.

Students are now required to:
Work on assignments regularly
Finish assigned classes before the end of the trimester
Unfinished classes will reset at the end of each trimester
Upon completion of a course one of the following must be submitted with a passing grade:
Complete and submit the final project for the course
End of semester final exam taken in person on campus
