Santoor Group (YIM Subsection)

The Santoor Group is part of YIM. All applicants must be enrolled as ICEC students before registering. The Santoor Group registration button appears below the activity requirements.

Eligibility and Activity Requirements

All applicants must be enrolled as ICEC students before registering. Students should already know how to play a musical instrument and be interested in joining YIM. Students of all ability levels are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Students must learn their assigned music before each session, either independently or with a separate music instructor, so class time can focus on playing together as an orchestra.

Students must bring their instrument to every class unless they play piano. Piano families may need to coordinate bringing one or two keyboards. The class fee will be announced after all registrations have been completed.

For instructor assessment, use the private recording-submission form to submit one audio or video recording with a maximum length of three minutes. Recordings are visible only to the instructor; students cannot view one another’s submissions.
