As technology advances, people’s attitudes and needs towards English, the language of technology, likewise evolve. The requirements of the current generation, known as digital natives, have acquired an additional level of complexity within this context. The notions of digital literacy, cyberbullying, digital ethics, and digital footprint have arisen as technology has advanced and become more intricate and central aspects of social and cultural life. The project used the open-source visual novel engine Ren'Py and developed Interactive Comics for Digital Literacy (ICDL) 1.0., specifically tailored for international students.
