MARUDHAMALAI TEMPLE
Subramaniyaswami Temple, Marudamalai is a popular 12th century hill temple dedicated to Hindu god Murugan, situated near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
It is considered as 7 House of Lord Murugan. Like most Murugan temples, the temple is situated upon a hillock, part of the Western Ghats about 12 km west from the city of Coimbatore. Thai Poosam and other Murugan festivals are celebrated.
OOTY
Udagamandalam and abbreviated as Udhagai and Ooty is a town and municipality in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 80 km north of Coimbatore and is the capital of the Nilgiris district. It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. Originally occupied by the Toda, the area came under the rule of the East India Company at the end of the 18th century.
The economy is based on tourism and agriculture, along with the manufacture of medicines and photographic film. The town is connected by the Nilgirighat roads and Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Its natural environment attracts tourists and it is a popular summer destination
SIRUVANI DAM
Siruvani dam is a dam in Palakkad District, Kerala located 46 km away from Palakkad town. This dam constructed across the Siruvani River, is for supplying drinking water to the city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The dam is surrounded by reserve forests.
Muthikulam hill is situated on the eastern side of the dam. There is a natural waterfall in the hill. The waterfalls and the Dam are big tourist attractions. The famous 150-year-old Pattiyar Bungalow is on the banks of the Siruvani Reservoir.
PERUR PATEESWARAR TEMPLE
Perur Pateeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva located at Perur, in western part of Coimbatore in state of Tamil Nadu in India. The temple was built by Karikala Chola.
The temple is located 7 km west of the Noyyal River and has been patronized by poets like Arunagirinathar and KachiappaMunivar. Lord Shiva, known as 'Patteeswarar', is the presiding deityof this temple together with his consort Parvati, who is known as 'Pachainayaki'. The deity is believed to be 'Swayambu Lingam' (self emerged).

ADIYOGI
The Adiyogi Shiva statue is a 112-foot-tall (34 m) statue of Hindu deity Shiva located at Coimbatore in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was built by the foundation and weighs around 500 tonnes (490 long tons; 550 short tons). The statue is for inspiring and promoting yoga, and is named Adiyogi, which means "the first yogi", because Shiva is known as the originator of yoga.
Adiyogi Shiva was inaugurated on 24 February 2017 by the Prime Minister of India, NarendraModi, on the occasion of MahaShivaratri – a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honour of Shiva. The Indian Ministry of Tourism has included the statue as a consecration destination in its official Incredible India campaign.The Adiyogi Statue has been recognized as the "Largest Bust Sculpture" by Guinness World Records.
ALIYAR DAM
Aliyar Reservoir is a 6.48 km2 (2.5 sq mi) reservoir located in Aliyar village near Pollachi town in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu, South India. The dam is located in the foothills of Valparai, in the Anaimalai Hills of the Western Ghats. It is about 65 kilometres (40 mi) from Coimbatore.
The dam offers some ideal getaways including a park, garden, aquarium, play area and a mini Theme-Park maintained by Tamil Nadu Fisheries Corporation for visitors enjoyment. The scenery is beautiful, with mountains surrounding three quarters of the reservoir. Boating is also available.
MALAMPUZHA DAM
Malampuzha Dam is the largest reservoir in Kerala, located near Palakkad in south India with the scenic hills of the Western Ghats in the background.
It is a combination of a masonry dam with a length of 1,849 metres and an earthen dam with a length of 220 metres. The dam is 355 feet high and crosses the Malampuzha River, a tributary of Bharathappuzha, Kerala's second longest river. There is a network of two canal systems that serve the dam's reservoir of 42,090 hectares.
ALAPPUZHA HOUSEBOAT
The Houseboats of Kerala are a new addition to the travel and tourism of the state's backwaters. These crafts, measuring up to 120 feet in length, retrieved from the age old cargo vessels of the State.
Once they ruled the backwaters, poled along by one or two men, heavily loaded with rice, coconut and other commodities. But in the recent times, these big vessels have been replaced by more and modern modes of transport, relegating them to neglect and decay. VALPARAI
Valparai is a Taluk and hill station in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located 3,500 feet (1,100 m) above sea level on the Anaimalai Hills range of the Western Ghats, at a distance of 100 kilometres (62 mi) from Coimbator e and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from Pollachi.
There are 40 hairpin bends on the way up to Valparai from Azhiyar. While major portions of the land are owned by private tea companies, large forest areas continue to be out of bounds.
Black Thunder is a water theme park located in Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated at the foot of Nilgiris near Mettupalayam, in Coimbatore 40 km north of the city and occupies an area of about 75 acres (300,000 m2).
The park offers about 49 rides, Surf Hill and the Wild River Ride notable among them. The park has a hotel situated within its premises.
MONKEY FALLS
Monkey Falls are natural waterfalls located near the uphill ghat road Valparai on the Pollachi-Valparai road in the Anaimalai Hills range, in Coimbatore district. Monkey Falls is about 30 km from Pollachi.

COONOR SIMS PARK
Sim's Park is in Coonoor, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. It is an important tourist place to visit in Coonoor, at a height of 1780 meters above mean sea level. Here the maximum temperature goes up to 30 degree Celsius and the minimum falls to 5°C. The average rain fall of this garden is 150 cm.
It extends over an area of 12 hectares of undulating land and possesses a number of natural advantages.
KODAIKANAL
Kodaikanal is a city in the hills of the Dindigul district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Its name in the Tamil language means "The Gift of the Forest".
Kodaikanal is referred to as the "Princess of Hill stations" and has a long history as a retreat and popular tourist destination.
PALANI ARULMIGU SHRI DHANDAYUTHAPANI TEMPLE
Palani Arulmigu Shri Dhandayuthapani temple is one of the Six Abodes of Murugan. It iis located in the town of Palani in Dindigul, 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Coimbatore and northwest of Madurai in the foot-hills of the Palani hills, Tamil Nadu, India.
Palani temple is considered synonymous with Panchamirtam, a sweet mixture made of five ingredients.
