The SCMS School of Engineering & Technology (SSET), promoted by the SCMS Group of Educational Institutions, has been in the forefront of providing quality professional education in Engineering & Technology since 2001. The SSET has established state of the art facilities on a sprawling 29 acre campus at Karukutty in Ernakulam District. SSET is one among the first ten colleges to be set up in the State under the private self-financing scheme. Right from the beginning SSET concentrated on providing quality education in a highly disciplined environment. This has paid rich dividends over the past years as is evident from the preference of students to join the College 

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2001. The department currently offers UG program with an intake of 60 students and two PG programs with specialization in VLSI & Embedded Systems and Communication Engineering with an intake of 18 each.

Well experienced faculty members with expertise in the core areas of VLSI Design, Wireless Communication, Signal processing, Electronic Circuits and Embedded Systems put integrated efforts to nurture students in a good academic and research ambiance.

To update with the recent trends and developments in the field of Electronics, the department takes up the initiative to conduct various Seminars, Conferences and Workshops, with eminent speakers from reputed academia and industry.

The students are also provided value added courses in each semester to bridge the gap between academics and industry thereby making them capable of doing projects in core domains. Our students are placed in reputed companies like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, TCS, Tata Elxsi etc

ICCMCS'23 is a platform that brings together leading academic scientists, researchers, professional engineers and the student scholars to exchange and share their ideas, experiences and research results in every aspect of Communication, Microelectronics, Computing and Signal Processing. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary arena for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, concerns and practical challenges encountered as well as solutions adopted in the fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

We proudly announce ICCMCS'23, a two day International Conference on Emerging Trends in Communication, Microelectronics, Computing and Signal Processing. This conference is aimed at providing a forum for scientific information exchange between researchers, developers, engineers and practitioners working in these areas as well as researchers (or future brains) to discuss various developments and innovations in these fields.
