HOW TO REACH

Reaching HRI

Harish-Chandra Research Institute is situated on the outskirts of Allahabad and is connected to the main city by buses plying to and fro frequently. Click here for the bus schedule.

By Train

The campus is about 15 kms from the railway station. Allahabad is well connected by trains from all over India. For more information on trains click here.

By Air

The nearest airport to HRI is Bamrauli Airport, Allahabad. Air India has flights between New Delhi and Allahabad everyday of the week.

One can also fly to Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi and then take a taxi to reach HRI, Allahabad, which takes about 3 hours. There are many daily flights from other cities operated by Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo, Spicejet, and GoAir.

On Arrival

We will arrange pick-ups for all participants at Allahabad Junction Railway Station, Allahabad Airport and Varanasi Airport. Those arriving at Allahabad Junction Railway Station should take the "City Side Exit" on Platform No. 1.
