2nd Workshop on Computational Advances in Metagenomics Research and Applications (CAMeRA 2026)
The CAMeRA workshop aims to accelerate progress in the field by bringing together experts to discuss new directions of research and exchange ideas on key topics in metagenomics and computational challenges presented by high-throughput sequencing data analysis.
Workshop topics of interest include but are not limited to:
Computational Metagenomic Profiling
Metagenomic Sequencing Techniques
Bioinformatics Tools and Pipelines
Comparative Metagenomics
Clinical Metagenomics
Statistical Models for Microbiome Analysis
Antibiotic Resistance in Metagenomics
Industrial Applications of Metagenomics
Ethics and Data Privacy
Future Directions in Metagenomics
The meeting is by invitation only.
Following the workshop, speakers will be invited to submit extended abstracts for publication in the Springer LNBI (pending approval) post-proceedings volume devoted to ICCABS 2026 and/or full-length articles to a special issue of the Journal of Computational Biology.
