The Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering was established in 1983. At present department is offering D.E.course in Instrumentation& Control Engineering with intake capacity of 60.
Instrumentation engineering is the science of the measurement and control of process variables within a production or manufacturing area. Instrumentation and control engineer role is to design, develop, install, test and maintain instruments, computer control systems that are used in the process industry.The main objective is to ensure that the processes operate efficiently and safely. Students have career opportunities in major manufacturing, process, energy, oil and natural gas industries as well as research opportunities in highly ranked universities within and outside country.
