Holding the belief that the pen is not mightier than the sword, but it's vessel, I write fantasy stories inspired by my favorite themes in life and the wonderous lands I dreamed up throughout my youth.

I'm largely inspired by Greek Mythology, especially my namesake: Icarus. Like Icarus, I often have the confidence of a Greek god, assuming everything will continue working out for me. In the long run, I might eventually notice that I'm flying too close to the sun, but for now I'm going to keep flying with wax wings.

While I've been writing assorted fictional works since my early teenage years, pursuing my Master's degree in Professional Writing served as a launch pad for creating a number of short stories I'm proud of, dabbling in mythological storylines, dystopian worlds, and sci-fi themes. I'm even more proud of the novel manuscript I'm currently developing, so keep your eye out for future works by me, especially in the fantasy genre for new adults.

I will continue to update as I submit various short stories for publication, so feel free to check back often, or follow my socials for updates.
