CATCH THEM YOUNG
REDEEMERS INTERNATIONAL SECONDARY SCHOOL
The ICAN Obio/Akpor & District Society held its “Catch Them Young” Programme on the 11th September 2026 at Redeemers International Schools, Mercy Land, Port Harcourt.
The programme exposed students to the accounting profession, the ICAN pathway, and career opportunities. It featured presentations, leadership remarks, interactive discussions, and a question-and-answer session.

The speaker, Mr. Dick Somese, shared valuable insights and encouraged students to learn, grow, and make informed choices.
The Chairman of ICAN Obio/Akpor & District Society, Mr Gabriel Success engaged with the students, answering questions and sharing valuable insights during the catch them young programme.
The Vice Chairman, Dr. Nengi Isagua delivered the Vote of Thanks, appreciating everyone for their active participation and encouraging the students to put the lessons learned into practice.
A special moment of appreciation as gifts were presented to the school, celebrating participation and supporting the continued growth and development of the students

As part of our commitment to inspiring and nurturing the next generation, ICAN Obio/Akpor & District Society engaged students of Bishop Crowther Memorial School through our Catch Them Young initiative.
The session provided an opportunity to introduce the students to accounting, finance and the values of professionalism, while encouraging them to dream big and consider the opportunities available within the profession.
