It is with great honor and a sense of accomplishment that we present the Book of Abstracts for the inaugural International Conference on Trends and Challenges in Digital Education. This conference represents a significant step toward addressing the evolving landscape of digital education and fostering collaboration among researchers, policymakers, educators, and EdTech innovators. The primary aim of this conference is to serve as a platform for showcasing theoretical and practical solutions that respond to the pressing challenges in digital education. These efforts align closely with the goals of the DigiEduHack initiative, providing participants with a wealth of research-driven insights and practical applications to inspire the development of innovative, scalable solutions. This year’s conference brought together 88 contributors from 13 countries, resulting in 30 high-quality abstracts that span a diverse range of topics. These contributions highlight how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and adaptive learning systems can be leveraged to create more inclusive, accessible, and personalized educational environments. In addition, this Book of Abstracts features eight exceptional submissions from students participating in the DigiEduHack semifinal competition in the Republic of Serbia. These abstracts capture innovative solutions and practical approaches to addressing critical issues such as the digital divide, student engagement, and lifelong learning. Their inclusion emphasizes the importance of nurturing young talent and promoting fresh perspectives within the field of educational technology. The collective work presented in this volume reflects the dedication, creativity, and expertise of a global community committed to advancing digital education. We hope that these abstracts will serve as a valuable resource, sparking meaningful dialogue and inspiring further innovation in this crucial area.
