AI Terminology Translation & Third-Party AI Processing
To translate complex medical terminology, report metrics, and pill descriptors into plain, simple language for educational reference, the Application uses secure API services provided by OpenAI (ChatGPT API) and Groq.
What Data is Sent: When you scan a document or look up a pill inside the Application, only the extracted optical character text or physical description details of the pill are transmitted to the AI services.
What Data is NOT Sent: No personal profile details, account credentials, full names, dates of birth, or email addresses are sent or shared with these third-party AI processors.
Security & Usage: All data transmissions to the AI processors are encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS protocols. OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Groq process this text data in real-time to generate educational explanations. According to their API policies, they do not retain, store, or use your uploaded content to train their AI models.
User Control: Users must explicitly consent to this data processing before performing scans. You can revoke or manage this AI Data Sharing consent at any time via the app's Settings menu.
