IB Systems was founded in 2014 based on the technologies achieved from the experience of R/D for 20 years. We are working in the field of instrumentations and measurement systems. Our vision is "Free Human from Labor" . The products of IB Systems are micro-BioMechanics, Bio-Stress, nanoFlow, Bio-Pressure, PWM-LED Curing Light Controller, Universal Mechanics Analyser, and Implant Screw Analyser.
If you click on the photo, you can download a brochure including more detailed information on the instrument.
The nanoFlow is an instrument that can measure fluid flow with a resolution of nanoliter in real time. It can be used to measure the dentinal fluid flow and dentin permeability, and for leakage test of adhesives or cements.

The micro-BioMechanics is an instrument that can measure the polymerization shrinkage kinetics (axial linear shrinkage, shrinkage rate, and peak shrinkage rate time) of composites and the cuspal deflection of tooth during composite curing. It can also be used to analyse the spatio-temporal polymerization shrinkage vectors of a composite during photo-curing with a CCD camera and computer vision software module.

The Bio-Stress is an instrument that can measure the kinetics of the polymerization shrinkage stress of a composite during curing without instrument compliance by adopting a negative feedback mechanism.
The Bio-Pressure is an instrument that can measure the apical pressure during root canal treatment with varying irrigant flow rates, and test the permeability of dentin and leakage of adhesives or root canal filling materials and cements.
The PWM LED Curing Light Controller is a device that can control the radiant emittance of a LED curing light. It can change the output power of a LED light linearly and cure time with the pulse width modulation technology, and can be used for research in the polymerization kinetics of light cured composites.
The Universal-Mechanics Analyser is an universal measurement instrument that is originally intended to analyse the mechanics of endodontic files (Bending Test, Torsional Fracture Test, Cyclic Fatigue Test, Buckling Test, Endo Filing Motion Simulation etc...). It can also be used for the characterization of dental composites rheology, analysing the bio-mechanics of orthodontic wire, and the bond strength test of dental adhesives.
The "Principles and Practice of Instrumentation for Biomechanical Research in Dentistry" covers how to make instruments using open source hardware and software. It introduces the biomechanics of composite restoration, and includes the basic principles and arts of electrical engineering and sensor electronics, and shows many practices of instrumentation for applications.
You can download new firmware for an Arduino microcontroller, and User Interface software, which can be installed on the nanoFlow, micro-BioMechanics, Bio-Stress, Bio-Pressure, PWM-LED Controller, and Universal Mechanics Analyser for upgrade.
IB Systems has been developing instrumentions for measurement systems. To date, six instruments have been developed as previously shown. IB systems has the cutting edge technologies based on the mechatronics using sensors and actuators, and endeavours to develop intelligent measurement systems using digital image processing and computer vision.
