I am Ibrarur Rahman Choudhury, a Lecturer (Grade-II) in the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Dhaka. My academic foundation was built at the same institution, where I completed my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with distinction, securing the 1st position in my program and receiving nomination for the Dean’s List of Honor.
My research interests center on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat and Mass Transfer, and the burgeoning field of Machine Learning (ML) applications in engineering. Currently, I serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) on a funded research project exploring CFD-ML frameworks for microchannel optimization. I am dedicated to exploring how data-driven models can enhance traditional mechanical systems to create more efficient engineering solutions.
In addition to my research, I am deeply committed to teaching and mentoring students within the department. I find great fulfillment in guiding young engineers through the complexities of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, aiming to foster a learning environment that encourages both analytical rigor and creative problem-solving. My goal as an educator is to bridge the gap between classroom theory and the evolving demands of the global engineering industry.
My long-term vision is to combine academic excellence with practical innovation to support advancements in the aeronautical and energy sectors. I strive to contribute to a sustainable future by applying engineering principles to solve real-world challenges while collaborating with peers and students on impactful, technology-driven initiatives.
