BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:

Shaykh Abu Muhammad Hassan bin Ali bin Al Muntasir Al Kettani Al Hasani is originally from Morocco and descends from a family rich in scholars. His lineage goes back to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through al Imam Hassan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib.

He is athari in aqeedah and Maliki in fiqh.

He started studying Quran at a tender age as it is the tradition in his family and learnt Tajwid from the riwayat of Hafs and warsh.

He went on to study Islamic sciences under over 70 of the leading scholars of our times, many of whom granted him ijazah.

Among them were his grandfather, his father, shaykh Hasan Ayoub, shaykh Abdulqadir ibn abdurrahman ibn al-sadeeq al Idrissi, shaykh Mustafa Al Najaar Al faqih al Maliki, shaykh Muhammad Bukhubzah, shaykh Abdulqadir al Arna’ult and many other scholars from different school of thoughts.

He also holds degree from universities in Morocco and Jordan, including a Master’s degree in combined fiqh and usul. In parallel, he obtained a MBA in management from the international institute for higher education in Morocco.

He has written in various fields including fiqh, Islamic politics, Fiqh al hadith, Usul al hadith etc...

He currently teaches Islamic sciences in Arabic and English.
