When we heard that Dan Stapleton was to attend a circus conference in nearby Baraboo, our Ring jumped at the chance of inviting him to lecture at our club. And what a lecture it was....something for everyone.
His two-hour lecture included mentalism, parlour magic, close-up and cards that play BIG. What was really appreciated were all the nuances that make the magic work, some effects we have seen for many years yet never thought about performing them the way Dan brought new light to these chestnuts. Yet...they fooled us.

I will be visiting LV October 21-27. Would your club be interested in hosting my 2-hour lecture, a combination of two lectures actually, Magic for the Working Magician and Cards as Theatre. Gustavo Raley Available to Lecture This Fall
Gustavo Raley has an amazing resume of magic. He won four awards during the same convention at FLASOMA 98. Gustavo specializes in designing creative effects performed by magicians around the world including “The Supercan” that was received FISM awards and “Toon Balloon” which was chosen as among the Top 10 best tricks at the Blackpool Magic Convention in 2024. He has been seen on stage and television in over 40 countries and multiple magic conventions including MAGIC Texas, Blackpool, FISM, Taiwan, among others. He has lectured to more than 300 magic groups around the world.
