Bank: It is Ebdaa Bank for Microfinance - Syria 

Electronic Account: It is a bank account created through the bank's website or the bank's electronic application, and is used exclusively to carry out electronic payments and transfers specified by the bank.

Customer: is the natural person wishing to open an electronic account with the bank, and it is not permissible to open an electronic account for legal persons.

-  The mere fact that the customer registers his data on the bank's website or application to open the account, does not entail any obligations on the bank towards the customer as long as he is not notified by the bank of the opening of the account.

- The maximum limit for any deposit in the electronic account is 5,000,000 SYP (only five million Syrian pounds only) and it is forbidden to execute any transaction above this limit.

- The account can be replenished by bank transfers or cash through the bank's operating branches or authorized agents

- The electronic account is treated as a current account and does not produce any profits for the benefit of the customer

- The mobile phone number used to open the electronic account must belong to one of the licensed mobile companies in Syria exclusively

- It is not possible to open more than one electronic account for the mobile phone number and the same national number

- The customer is obligated to review the bank to inform him of any change or amendment to his authorized personal information

- The bank determines the commissions incurred for the services of this account, and it has the right to amend these commissions at any time where they are effective with immediate effect without the need to notify the customer

- The customer alone bears the taxes, expenses and commissions that fall on him as a result of opening this account

 - The customer is solely responsible for maintaining the login information to his account (username - password ..)

-  The customer must inform the bank in the event of loss, loss or theft of his device or information related to the electronic account, by calling the bank's quadruple number 9929 or personally attending one of the bank's branches or agents to report. The bank is responsible for suspending the account within 24 hours from the moment of notifying the bank except on weekends or official holidays.

- The customer is not entitled to recover any unused balance or withdraw any balance in cash from the account, or his account must be transferred to a regular bank account by reviewing the bank if he wishes to do so

- The bank is not obliged to execute the customer's instructions on the account when the balance in the account holder is insufficient at the time of executing the requested transaction.

- The customer has the right to cancel his electronic account by visiting one of the bank's branches or agents exclusively

- The electronic account is frozen by the bank in the event that the customer does not use the account for the specified period according to the instructions of the Central Bank of Syria

- The bank has the right to prevent the customer from using his account in the event of legal seizure or freezing or in the event of any local or international penalties issued on the customer's name

-  The bank has the right to stop the account services in the event of any malfunction in the network or if the bank deems it necessary to stop it, without the need to inform the customer, and the customer is not entitled in this case to claim any compensation or other amounts

- The bank is not responsible in the event of any malfunction beyond its control or any emergency or force majeure

- All electronic account operations are subject to the laws and instructions of combating money laundering and terrorist financing in force in the Syrian Arab Republic.

- The customer is solely responsible for any illegal use of the electronic account in a manner inconsistent with the laws and regulations in force, and bears the risks resulting from this

- If the customer wishes to use this account in conventional banking transactions, he must come to the bank to amend the nature of the account and complete the due diligence procedures.

- The Syrian courts are competent to hear any dispute that may arise between the bank and the customer over this account.

- Sending a text message to the mobile number authorized by the customer is considered as a notification to the customer

- The Customer has also taken the address indicated by him at the time of opening this account as a chosen domicile for notification in relation to this account.

- The Bank has the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time at the Bank's absolute discretion, and the Customer's continued use of the Services and the Account is his acceptance of such amendments.

Customer acknowledgements, the Customer acknowledges the following:

1.     I acknowledge that I am fully legally competent and mentally strong, that I am over eighteen years of age, that I am eligible to open and manage a digital account with the bank on my own, and that I am not one of the owners of special cases that require certain procedures (such as the blind or illiterate).

2.     Acknowledge that you have a valid ID or Iqama document

3.     I acknowledge that I have accepted to open a digital account online and that I am the real beneficiary of the account

4.     I acknowledge my acceptance of opening a sub-account within the electronic account by Ebdaa Microfinance Bank for the purpose of using it in the operations that take place on the account later

5.     I acknowledge that I accept that Ebdaa Microfinance Bank requests electronic services that help me use my account and send passwords through SMS  to the mobile number specified by me when opening the account

6.     I acknowledge that the mobile number authorized by me when filling out the electronic form when opening this account is in my possession and used by me, and I exempt the bank from the provisions of banking secrecy in the event that it appears otherwise.

7.     I acknowledge my consent to receive notifications on the mobile number authorized by me

8.     I acknowledge the correctness and accuracy of the data and information filled out by me according to the electronic form

9.     I declare that I am not on any of the blacklists and that I am not one of the persons prohibited from dealing with

10.  I acknowledge that the funds deposited or transferred to and from my account are legitimate and that I take responsibility if the contrary is found to be

11.  I acknowledge my acceptance of outgoing and incoming transfers and deposits made on the account

12.  I acknowledge that I abide by the instructions and laws of combating money laundering and terrorist financing in force in the Syrian Arab Republic and all that may be issued later

13.  I agree to provide the Bank at any time with any information or data requested by it related to the account

14.  I acknowledge that I have read and agreed to the terms and conditions related to the electronic account

15.  The bank has the right to suspend the electronic account and stop providing electronic services without the need for any notice, while retaining its right to take all necessary measures in the following cases:

1.     In the event that the customer provides incorrect information according to the electronic form filled out by him

2.     In the event that the account is used in a manner that violates the laws and regulations in force

3.     In the event that he/she does not comply with and violates any of the rules for using the account in accordance with the provisions of the applicable conditions

4.     In the event that the bank does not review when requested to do so, it is necessary to provide or update any data or information required by it.

5.     If the bank becomes aware of the customer's death
