A. No Personal Information Required

We do not collect personal information to use our App. You can use I Bet without creating an account, providing an email address, or sharing any personally identifiable information.

B. Local Prediction Data

• All predictions, confidence levels, and "bets" you create are stored locally on your device in a private database

• This data is never uploaded to our servers

• No Account Creation: You are not required to create an account to use the App

• No Cloud Sync: There is no synchronization of your prediction data with any external servers

C. Optional Third-Party Integrations

If you choose to use our optional integration features, the app will access specific data from these platforms to provide prediction tracking:

Jira Integration (Optional)

• If you link your Jira account via OAuth, the app fetches specific ticket keys, descriptions, and status updates (e.g., "Done") to automatically settle bets based on task completion

• All data is processed locally on your device

Todoist Integration (Optional)

• If you link your Todoist account via OAuth, the app fetches task names, due dates, and completion status to automatically settle bets based on task completion

• All data is processed locally on your device

Calendar Integration (Optional)

• If you link your Google or Microsoft Calendar, the app accesses event titles and end times to help you track predictions tied to specific meetings or deadlines

• Calendar data is only read, never modified

Manifold Markets (Optional)

• The app fetches publicly available market data (market ID, URL, and crowd probability) to allow you to track your predictions against market sentiment

• This data is already publicly accessible

D. OAuth and Authentication

For Jira, Todoist, and Calendar integrations, we use standard OAuth 2.0 protocols:

• Access Tokens: Authorization tokens are stored securely on your device using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences

• Direct Processing: Authentication happens directly between your device and the provider (e.g., Atlassian, Doist, Google, Microsoft)

• No Server Storage: We do not see, access, or store your login credentials on our servers

• You Control Access: You can revoke access to any integration at any time through the app or the third-party provider's settings

2. Storage and Security

• On-Device Storage: Your prediction history and integration metadata are stored in a local Room database on your smartphone

• Encryption: Sensitive tokens are encrypted using the Android Keystore system to prevent unauthorized access by other apps

• No Cloud Backup: By default, your data is not synced to a cloud account by us

• Data Persistence: If you uninstall the app or clear its data, your local prediction history will be lost unless backed up by your device's OS (Android Auto-Backup feature)

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to improve the app experience:

Firebase Analytics (Google)

• We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., which screens are visited, feature usage patterns) to help us improve the user experience

• This does not include your specific predictions, bet details, or any personally identifiable information

• You can opt-out of analytics in your device settings

Firebase Remote Config

• Used to provide dynamic feature updates without requiring a full app store update

• No personal data is transmitted through this service

Firebase Crashlytics (Optional)

• Collects anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs and improve stability

• No personal data or prediction content is included in crash reports

4. App Permissions

To provide its features, the app may request:

• Internet Access: To sync with Jira, Todoist, Manifold Markets, and Calendar APIs (only if you enable integrations)

• Notifications: To send you reminders for settling pending bets (optional, can be disabled)

• Exact Alarm: To ensure reminders are delivered precisely when a prediction expires

• Calendar Read (Optional): Only if you choose to enable Calendar integration

• Contacts (Optional): Only if you choose to share predictions with contacts (future feature)

All permissions are requested only when needed and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.

5. Your Choices and Control

Data Control

• Opt-out of Integrations: You can choose not to link any third-party accounts. The app remains fully functional for manual prediction tracking

• Delete Individual Bets: Remove any prediction at any time through the app interface

• Clear All Data: Completely erase all app data through the app settings or Android system settings

• Revoke Integration Access: Disconnect third-party integrations at any time

Analytics Opt-Out

• You can opt-out of Firebase Analytics through your device's advertising settings

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties.

• Your prediction data remains on your device

• Integration data (Jira tickets, Todoist tasks, calendar events) is fetched directly from providers to your device

• We do not have access to or collect this integration data on our servers

The only data we collect is:

• Anonymous usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics)

• Anonymous crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to fix bugs

7. International Users

The app can be used worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device, there are no international data transfers of your personal information.

Firebase Analytics data is processed by Google according to their privacy policy and may be processed in various countries.

8. Children's Privacy
