The Hermanos Serdán International Airport (PBC) in Huejotzingo, Puebla, is about 45 minutes from the city. United Airlines operates a daily flight to and from Houston.
If you arrive at Mexico City International Airport (MEX), we highly recommend taking the Estrella Roja bus to Puebla.
Ticket offices: In Terminal 1, the office is located near the fast-food lounge on the first floor; in Terminal 2, it is at the main entrance. After clearing customs, ask a porter to take you to the Estrella Roja ticket office—this is the most practical way to avoid getting lost.
Frequency: Buses depart every 20–30 minutes.
Destination: Make sure to request Paseo Destino as your arrival station in Puebla (this is different from the city’s central bus station).
Travel time: The journey is approximately 120 km (75 miles) and takes about 2.5 hours, depending on traffic.
Cost: Around USD 22.
