iBEARS at Baylor University
The Inclusive Biologists Exploring Active Research with Students (iBEARS) is an NSF-funded program and collaboration between the Department of Educational Psychology (School of Education) and the Department of Biology (College of Arts and Sciences) at Baylor University.
Our program has had over 700 participants, ranging from 3rd- 8th-grade students in local schools, undergraduate students at Baylor University, and in-service classroom teachers.
Welcome Spring 2024 Cohort!
This spring, we welcome a brand new cohort to the iBEARS Program. We have over 230 new K-12 students, 10 teachers, five schools, four grade levels in two countries and 36 undergraduates using the scientific process to ask research questions and make discoveries.
