Welcome to IB at DPHS
Dos Pueblos High School is proud to be offering the International Baccalaureate Programme as an educational program for inquiring, motivated, and capable juniors and seniors. For the inquiring and motivated student, any IB class, whether it be one or multiple IB classes provides an incredible combination of academic, social and personal growth that is priceless. The International Baccalaureate programme provides an academic experience that challenges students to become worldly and well-rounded individuals who really question what they are learning, why they are learning it, and what it shows us about the world.
IB Mission Statement
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
