An Idea 

What is iCBIG: Independant Community & Business Improvement Group 

iCBIG is a working title—not yet an organization, but a concept for a shared voice and collective hub to improve Old Ottawa South.

Goal: 

To foster communication among all parties in Old Ottawa South. 

Objectives:

• Developing a strong, collective neighborhood identity.

• Foster collaboration and support between local businesses, community groups and institutions.

• Improving community engagement.

• Establishing a Neighborhood Connection Hub.

Instead of relying on a formal structures like OSCA or proposing a BIA, iCBIG asks: What if with OSCA, together with businesses, community groups and residents co-created a readily accessible community website hub and directory that reflected all resources in our community?
