I believe that each child has their very own unique learning style and deserves a nurturing environment with a teacher who is knowledgeable about the content they teach in order for them to reach their full potential. As a teacher, I provide this learning environment for my students by guiding them to use their own natural curiosity to learn and discover new ideas and by allowing them to share their ideas in collaboration with one another.

I have had the unique opportunity to be part of several different classes as well as several different grade levels. Throughout my teaching career I have worked with high school all the way down to middle school. I believe this experience has shaped me into the teacher that I am now. In my classroom I have learned that the only way to reach every child is to work in small groups throughout the day.
