Modern Structure - Family Cave Addition

"We were contacted by a client that desperately wanted someone to design their dream sunroom attached to their home. There were three things she requested - lots of windows and skylights, stamped concrete flooring, and shiplap everywhere!

Once we came up with the design, we did a two-stage demo of the back of the house to minimize weather exposure once we started doing all the main framing. In the end result, we blended the old with the new and gave our customer exactly what she wanted. We installed windows galore to allow natural light to pass through the sunroom into her formal sitting room where we raised the roof approx 3 feet to match the new sunroom. We wrapped the sunroom with floor-to-ceiling shiplap and coated everything with cabinet-grade paint for a superb finish throughout.

It was quite a challenge building onto an old farmhouse, but it was rewarding receiving the gracious thank you from our customer as she told us we fulfilled building her dream space!"
