Privacy Policy

Ibadat ("the App") is developed by Tevfik Omer. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive only the information you choose to share.

• Location Data: With your permission, we access your GPS coordinates to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Location data is processed on your device and sent only to the Aladhan prayer time API. We do not store your location on our servers.

• Usage Data: Quran reading progress and Tasbih counts are stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide accurate prayer times based on your location

• Calculate Qibla direction

• Authenticate your account

• Save your reading progress and preferences

• Process subscription purchases

3. Data Storage

• Account data is stored securely via Firebase Authentication (Google Cloud).

• Preferences and reading progress are stored locally on your device.

• We do not store your GPS coordinates on any server.

• Subscription status is managed through Apple's StoreKit framework.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Firebase Authentication (Google) — user account management

• Aladhan API — prayer time calculations

• Quran.com API — Quranic text

• Apple Sign-In — authentication

• Apple StoreKit — subscription management

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is shared only with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide the App's functionality.

6. Data Tracking

Ibadat does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not use any advertising identifiers or tracking technologies.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly within the App by going to Settings and selecting "Delete Account." This will permanently remove your account and all associated data from Firebase. Local data will be removed when you uninstall the App.

9. Your Rights

• Access your personal data

• Delete your account and data

• Change location permissions at any time

• Disable notifications through device settings

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
