Member Assistance Program (MAP) – The Entertainment Community Fund offers free, confidential services and development (i.e. workshop) opportunities to Members of Small Locals, across a myriad of personal and work needs.

Union Plus (National) – Union Plus is a nonprofit organization founded to provide consumer benefits programs exclusively to union members (current and retired) and their families. Offerings span financial products and assistance, home and auto, health and wellness, travel, scholarship programs, and more.
Enrollment is easy.
The link to enroll and log in is in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage. Depending on the rotating graphic, can be hard to see!
Union Plus Entertainment (Local) - Powered by Abenity, the Union Plus Entertainment App (for iOS and Android) offers more localized discounts across live events, local attractions, restaurants - and many more. Also offering Mobile Coupons. Think of this as a Groupon-like site only for union members.
Education & Training
FREE LinkedIn Learning Subscription - The IATSE Training Trust Fund is the training division of the International. In addition to providing required training to IATSE skilled trades and tech, the Fund offers free LinkedIn Learning subscriptions to Members via an easy application process. Normally, LI Learning is only available via a LinkedIn Premium Subscription costing $45+ per month.
Benefits - LI Learning offers over 20,000 online classes, training, and certification courses across a variety of areas, well beyond IATSE-related trainings. You gain full access to the entire course/certification catalog.
No existing LinkedIn Account is required. Nor do you have to create a LinkedIn account once an application is approved, though you can create one during the process. If you DO have a LinkedIn account, you will have the option to connect the two sides during the activation process.
How to Apply:
Fill out the Online LinkedIn Learning Application
On approval, the LI Learning team will send you an approval email with instructions on creating your LIL account.
Activation - LI Learning accounts much be activated using a desktop or laptop computer - not through the mobile app.

Scholarships
IATSE Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation - The Foundation offers (10) scholarship awards to children of active members each year. Each winner of a scholarship will receive a total of $10,000 in scholarship funds paid out at $2,500 per year over a four year period.
To be eligible, students must:
Be the child of a member in good standing of the IATSE. Grandchildren are not applicable to apply.
Be a high school senior at the time of application.
You are not eligible to apply if you have already commenced college or university and you cannot apply if you have decided to start college or university a year after graduation; and
Have applied, or be about to apply for admission to an accredited college or university as a fully matriculated student, which will lead to a bachelor’s degree.
Retirement
Retirement 65 and Retirement 75+ [Gold Card] Status – The International offers an option for those looking to retire from active work with the Local, yet want to remain involved with the Local and attend meetings. Review the IATSE Retirement Brochure for full details.
Retirement 65+
Members who have reached the age of 65+ may apply for Retired 65 status. These Members may remain involved in the Union, but are not able to work shifts.
Members can attend meetings, have a voice, and attend Union non-work functions.
Retired 65 Members cannot vote, nor hold office.
Quarterly dues are reduced to $4.50/quarter.
An Application for Retired 65 Status is required.

The Secretary will submit the application to the International, and on approval, a Retired 65 Card will be mailed to the Member.
Retirement 75 - Gold Card Status
Members who are in Retired 65 status and then reach the age of 75, and have been a member of IATSE for at least 25 years, may apply for Gold Card Status. They are then permanent members of he IATSE, retain all benefits of Retired 65 status in terms of participation, but no longer have to pay any quarterly dues.
An Application for Gold Card Status is required.
