Behind Every Ticket, There’s a Team.
Local 788 Treasurers and Ticket Sellers Union is Rochester, New York's ticketing branch of IATSE — the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories and Canada.
Formed in 1948, Local 788 members are the front-line staff providing ticket sales and customer service to fans of local sports teams, touring acts, and performing arts at venues across the Rochester and Finger Lakes region. Our venues include Blue Cross Arena, ESL Ballpark (Rochester Redwings), Kodak Center, CMAC Performing Arts Center, and select City of Rochester events (i.e. Party in the Park).
Who is IATSE?
We are a part of the larger IATSE International Association. Since 1893, the strength and solidarity of IATSE members have bettered the lives of workers throughout the entertainment industry. Together, we are the more than 168,000 members, with over 360 independent Local unions, behind live events, movie and television production, theater, trade shows, and most recently, the visual effects and gaming industry.
Our History
Our Local has been serving the Rochester and Finger Lakes
live event and venue industry since 1948.
