• Category I: A person holding a regular/temporary position in College/University/Research Institution (private or Govt.) who is availing/availed SERB and DST schemes.

• Category II: Early career researchers holding a regular/temporary position in College/University/Research Institution (private or Govt.) who are not availing any SERB and DST schemes.

• Category III: A person who has just completed the doctoral degree and is looking for such schemes.

(Seats are limited. Selection will be based on availability of seats and other criteria as fixed by SERB and IASST)

• Participants of Category I will present a poster on their project work.

• Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and lodging (only for outstation candidates at Hotel Radisson Blu, Guwahati) during the workshop days (from the afternoon of 13 July to 15 July) will be taken care of by the organizers.

• Travel allowance will be provided to the participants on performance of journey by Economy Class Air Fare/Train/1st Class AC/2nd Class AC/ACCC, Road following Govt. of India norms (a maximum reimbursement of Rs 10,000/- or actual, whichever is less).
