Our Mission

The purpose/mission of the International Association of Reading Graduate Students (IARGS) is to support graduate students' scholarship about the teaching and learning of reading. Each year, we host events that promote conversations among prominent reading scholars, graduate students, practitioners, and all who are interested in the teaching and learning of reading. We also host reading events that engage graduate students with our local community .
