My latest and/or proudest contributions as a Content Designer working with product teams, fellow designers and content people.
Work samples based on collaboration with product teams for comprehesive user journeys improvements.
The niche gems. Examples of how my "content brain" works and resources I create to bring strategy to life in a visual way.
STRATEGY AND SCALABILITY
During a hackaton, me and a fellow content designer created an AI powered Content Design buddy POC to test a new way to support teams without dedicated support.
After 2 months of testing and refining its instructions, it was ready to release, connected to our team's content strategy, guidelines, principles, word lists.
It was also trained to recognize design system components, allowing for text-based and image-based prompting to get microcopy ideas, strategy insights, and also inform product designers and product managers when to reach out to us.
After 1 month, the buddy became the design team's new best content friend, daily used by product designers, freeing up our team for more strategic tasks.
USER JOURNEYS • UX/UI HIGHLIGHTS
End-to-end collaboration with the product designer, UX Researcher, and product team, starting with the discovery research, through collaborative solution design and delivery.
This project included a variety of initiatives, including a content-led usability testing focused on understanding which content hierarchy would work best in the order details page.
USER JOURNEYS • UX/UI HIGHLIGHTS
As the Senior Growth Content Designer, I was part of the team working on improvements to this cancellation flow. My contribution was refining copy and information hierarchy for the entire flow.
The goal was to work on retention and the copy approach was rooted in promoting transparency, clearly outlining the consequences of cancelling while avoiding guilt-tripping language, creating a respectful, low-friction decision path.
We also wanted to create a research interest touchpoint. We wanted to celebrate users even when they were cancelling, by thanking them for working together, and invited them to share their experience so we could learn from it.
UX/UI HIGHLIGHTS
As the UX Writer working on this project, I wrote the customer-facing copy for one of the first versions of the new travel rewards/wallet system at Booking.com, launching at different devices and platforms.
The challenge was making a complex loyalty product feel easy to understand and trustworthy. I worked with product teams n the FinTech unit to ensure language and messaging consistency across multiple touchpoints, that clearly explained and guided users around how points, refunds, and redemptions worked.
My microcopy approach focused on clarity over cleverness: short sentences, plain language, and front-loading the most important information. We did user testing sessions to shape solution based on decisions around tone and structure that prioritized comprehension and understanding, clarity around what they were signing up for.
The work involved close collaboration with product design, product and engineering team to align messaging early and iterate based on A/B testing results.
UX/UI HIGHLIGHTS
My contribution was leading the UX Writing for the launch of a new agile planning tool.
I wrote the core UI copy for the product interface, designed in-product promotional banners to drive feature awareness and adoption, and drafted beta release notes to communicate updates to early users.
I collaborated closely with product teams and technical writers to ensure messaging consistency across the product experience and documentation.
Throughout the project, I worked to align the content strategy with both initial discovery and ongoing user engagement.
UX/UI HIGHLIGHTS
As the sole writer in the company and digital team at Bugaboo at the time, I led the creation of all the digital content during a comprehensive six-month overhaul of our entire digital ecosystem.
This was part of a project to replatform the website, which meant a great opportunity for the digital team to redesign the user experience from scratch.
My role touched areas such as UX writing, product content creation, SEO optimisation, and brand content for the website. The work was divided between creation of brand new content for strategic business highlights, and repurposing and refining previously existing content on other touchpoints to align with the new website launch.
Learnings: Sharpening my project management skills and proving the power of collaborative, end-to-end content design.
STRATEGY AND SCALABILITY
A strategic initiative to decentralize content design support by building a self-service library for product teams.
This way, product designers could prepare their designs for critiques and other design showcasing moments using an easy searchable system (including multiple ways of searching) embedded into the design system.
I was leading the creation of this system in the content design team, and our goal to empower product designers without dedicated content design support to produce high-quality UI content autonomously.
The end goal of this small but mighty optimization to the design process was to allow us as content designer to move away from potential time-consuming, repetitive microcopy polishing and reclaim time for high-priority, strategic content design work.
STRATEGY AND SCALABILITY
Acting as the bridge between engineering and localization to define requirements for a centralized, automated translation workflow.
My role involved managing the end-to-end feedback loop with translators and stakeholders, translated complex system logic into comprehensive documentation, and led cross-functional "Ask Me Anything" sessions to ensure seamless adoption across Product, Localization, and Marketing teams.
This was a 8-month project in which I acted as a project manager.
As a Content Designer, this didn't fall directly under my scope, but it was important for the design team as a way to ensure all the microcopy created for each experience and validated during research initiatives was ultimately reaching users.
