The IAPR TC1 on Statistical Techniques in Pattern Recognition is one of the official Technical Committees of the International Association for Pattern Recognition.

IAPR TC1 aims to promote interaction and collaboration among researchers working directly in statistical pattern recognition and machine learning but also among those specialized in other fields using or developing statistical techniques. In this relation it is of particular interest to stimulate links with many mathematical statisticians, theoreticians and practitioners alike who work at present outside the pattern recognition and machine learning communities.
