Sticky Notes: Notepad & Lists (com.iappstudio.stickynotes) is published by prank apps. This policy explains how the Android app handles information. For privacy questions, contact tarikatani62@gmail.com.
NOTES AND OTHER CONTENT
Notes, checklists, boards, expiry products, attached photos, preferences, and reminder settings are stored on your device. The app does not operate a developer server that receives this content. You can delete items in the app or clear the app’s data through Android settings.
If you choose Google Drive backup, the app asks you to authorize access to its private app-data folder in your Google Drive account. When you tap Back Up, it sends a snapshot of your notes, boards, expiry products, and attached photos to that folder over HTTPS. Older snapshots remain in your Drive account. The app reads your Google account email address to show which account is connected. Access tokens are kept in memory. Disconnecting revokes the app’s Drive access but does not delete local content or existing Drive snapshots. Google’s privacy policy and your Google account settings govern storage and deletion of those snapshots.
PHOTOS, CAMERA, AND PRODUCT LOOKUP
Photos you choose or capture are stored with the related note or product on your device. Text and barcode recognition run on the device. If you explicitly request an Open Food Facts product lookup, the app sends the product barcode to Open Food Facts over HTTPS to retrieve a product name. This request also exposes your IP address to that service. Note content and photos are not sent with product lookup requests.
ADVERTISING AND CONSENT
The app uses Google Mobile Ads to show banners and occasional interstitial ads. Google’s SDK may automatically collect and share IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers, including advertising identifiers when available, for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. The app does not pass note, checklist, board, or product content to ad requests. Google’s User Messaging Platform may show consent and privacy choices where required. Advertising data is transmitted using TLS. Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google Ads information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
PERMISSIONS AND RETENTION
The app may request camera access when you choose to capture a photo, notification permission for reminders, and exact-alarm access for time-sensitive reminders. You can change these permissions in Android settings. Local content remains until you delete it or clear the app’s data. Google Drive snapshots remain in your Google account until deleted there. Google and Open Food Facts handle data sent to their services under their own policies. The app does not create an account with the developer.
CHANGES AND CONTACT
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated. For questions, contact tarikatani62@gmail.com.
