Ian Russo is a composer from Gibraltar, whose musical influences span a diverse array of artists, including Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Hybrid, Michael McCann, Hans Zimmer, and Klaus Badelt.
Ian also runs Ambient Music Hub, a YouTube channel dedicated to the serene beauty of ambient music. There, he crafts and shares soundscapes that blend soft tones, evolving textures, and subtle harmonies designed to calm the mind and spark creativity. For Ian, ambient music is more than a genre - it’s an atmosphere, a form of expression that captures stillness, emotion, and imagination.
Recently, Ian collaborated with local artist Alan Perez to create a musical composition for an art installation. He also partnered with Nathan Conroy of Art In Movement (A.I.M.) to produce custom pieces for various dance performances. In addition, Ian has worked with numerous local artists and choreographers, contributing to a range of projects by composing and producing original tracks.
Ian's recent work includes producing two remixes for the local group 'The Views.' One of these remixes was featured in the film "Tragic Waste," directed by Nigel Canepa and produced by Creep House Entertainment.
