HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2024 -Skipper

Executive Summary

2023  Completed the winter 2023 i420 circuit in Miami as one of the top finishers.  

2023 Qualified for “Team USA” as skipper for 2023 i420 Worlds (Alicante, Spain July 2023). Finished 52nd of 130 in Open fleet. 

2022 Qualified for “Team USA” as skipper for 2022 i420 Worlds (Lake Balaton, Hungary August 2022). Finished 37th of 111 in Open fleet overall.

2021 Summer C420 travel and live away team  “Clark Fleet” w/ UPenn and Fordham Coaches. Sailed full 2021 C420 Summer circuit (Brook Gonzales, NE’s, NA’s, Nationals, CJ Buckley, South Shore Champs). 

2013-2019 Optimists: USODA National Team and “Team USA” member. Started racing optimists at age 7. Qualified for first USODA Team Trials at age 9 in 2015. Raced the full year-round USODA circuit (a travel USODA or International regatta roughly once a month every year for 4-5 years) with Florida training in winters. Sailed for LIMA and CERT Opti Teams.

Member of USODA “TEAM USA” International Teams, Represented the USA at 2018 XXIX INTERNATIONAL PALAMOS OPTIMIST TROPHY, Vela Palamos, Spain and Qualified for USODA 2020 South American Team (SAM’s). 

2021 Summer C420 Lived away in Newport, RI with Clark Fleet and did the C420 full travel circuit, Clark Fleet (UPenn coach, Isaac Clark and Fordham Coach John Norfleet).

Scored a perfect “5” on the AP Calculus B/C Exam. Completed Senior AP Calculus as a sophomore.  Received perfect "5"s on AP Chemistry, AP History, AP Computer Science.

2023 Completed college level multi-variable Calculus at MIT on-line (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Earned a  grade of B+ .

VARSITY AND TRAVEL CLUB LACROSSE

2023 Connecticut South West Conference HONORABLE MENTION

VARSITY ALPINE SKI TEAM

Life-long ski racer. Captain of High School Alpine Ski Team. Made Connecticut All State on Varsity HS Ski Team (started alpine ski racing in Vermont at Bromley Outing Club at age 8). Made Varsity as a freshman.
